The sports activities of the college were under the direct supervision of two qualified Physical Instructors, Mr. Parshant Rai and Ms. Kavita More.As in the past our college teams of Chess (Men/Women), Table Tennis (Men/Women), Basket Ball, Football, Cricket, Lawn Tennis and Badminton participated with full zeal in the Kurukshetra University Intercollegiate Tournaments this session (2009-10) also. These tournaments were held during Sept.-Nov. 2009 in which the participation of our college has been recorded as max. among about 50 technical colleges affiliated to K.U. Kurukshetra. The performance of our teams of Table Tennis(Men) Basketball and Cricket has been excellent. Infact, the teams of Table Tennis, Badminton and Cricket reached up to semi-final while of Basketball lost only in the final. Besides this, the college team of Basketball and Football also participated in BRCM 8th National Level Sports Fest, Bahal, Bhiwani (26-28 March, 2010) and won 2nd and 3rd position respectively.The college also held its 8th Athletic Meet within the lush green campus on March 6th, 2010 of which Dr. T.R. Kundu, Dean of Colleges (K.U.K.) was the Chief Guest. About 100 students took active parts in various events like 100/200/400/800 m races, Relay Race, Shotput, Discuss Throw, Javeline Throw, Long Jump, High Jump etc.
The winners of each event received medals on the spot, while the Best Athletes Mr. Manoj(ME) among Boys and Ms. Anuja among girls were given cash prizes in the Annual Function of the college held on April 15, 2010. One of our students Mr. Sunil Kumar participated in Boxing Championship of Haryana Olympics Games and Haryana State Tournament (2009-10) and has won respectively Gold medal and Bronze medal.The college has well maintained Cricket & Football grounds and Volleyball & Lawn tennis courts.The budget for holding sports activities during 2009-10 touched just 1.5 Lakhs which includes T.A./D.A./refreshment of the students as per K.U. Kurukshetra rules.
NSS: The NSS unit is a dynamic and goal oriented body, which is step by step headed towards success. We believe in a humane approach towards the upliftment of the rural and backward population, the underprivileged amongst the people of the country, those who cannot afford even the basic needs of survival, i.e., food, shelter, and clothing. This NSS unit is successfully fulfilling its responsibility of making differences to the society
On 25 February, 2009, a 10-day camp was organized on “Environment Awareness and Mission Green Earth” at village Ujjhana. The NSS wing upheld its duty of social obligation by organizing this camp with the help of District Forest Department and planted 3000 trees in the district.
On 4th November, 2009, the NSS Unit organized a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with the Red Ribbon Club. Mrs. Amneet P. Kumar (Honorable Deputy Commissioner, Kaithal), graced the occasion, and 500 units of blood were collected over the course of the day. The NSS Unit was honoured by Mrs. Asha Hooda, Chairperson, State Child Welfare Society. On 21 October, 2008, the NSS unit organized a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with the Red Ribbon Club. In this year 2008, the college broke its own record and becomes top contributor in terms of blood unit in Haryana state in which 505 blood units were collected.
